About the Role:

As the Operational Excellence Associate Director for Lean Digital Core (LDC) in MEOG  team, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Medical

Affairs processes. Your mission is to drive process excellence, ensure compliance, and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and user experience across the Medical Affairs organization globally. You will support Global Process Owner Medical Affairs in

successful delivery of improvements in Medical Affairs processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead submission readiness reviews in the content (medical and commercial) review process and monitor project status to ensure schedules and deadlines are being met.
  • Manage and facilitate the full content approval process for both non-promotional and promotional  materials.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders, including project owners, medical, legal and regulatory review process reviewers, agencies, and CPOs (local countries), to plan and route materials to appropriate reviewers for timely compliance review.
  • Provide guidance to project owners and vendors/agencies on submission requirements
  • Facilitate review/concept review meetings, monitor the status of system tasks and follow-up, update/maintain system delegation
  • Identify and champion opportunities for automation and digital enablement.
  • Collaborate with LDC cross-functional and country medical teams to translate Medical Affairs needs into User Requirements (e.g., in JIRA).
  • Support LDC implementation through various release stages of country engagement, release scoping to deployment and post go-live support.

Essential Requirements

  • At least 8 years of pharmaceutical experience
  • At least 3 years of working in matrix environment  and ability to support complex international multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong experience of Process Mapping and Business Processes Management tools
  • Proven experience of utilizing digital tools and  demonstrated digital savviness in support operational excellence initiatives
  • Familiarity in ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong tolerance for ambiguity, willingness to adapt, willing to speak-up and challenge

  • Ability to work seamlessly across matrices.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and knowledge of cultural differences with experience in multi-country, multi-cultural environments and demonstrated success with global collaboration.
