In this position, the manager focuses on tactical execution, operational support, and analytics-driven recommendations, while maintaining quality standards and fostering positive relationships with vendors.
About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Support data analysis efforts to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure efficient sourcing decisions.
- Conduct basic financial modeling and “should cost” analysis to facilitate vendor reviews and contract discussions.
- Assist in gathering supplier data, market trends, and performance metrics for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with Procurement and other teams to streamline sourcing processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor and track sourcing KPIs and performance metrics to identify trends and areas requiring improvement.
- Contribute to the development of dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Provide operational support for sourcing-related projects and initiatives to drive incremental improvements.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree is required
Work Experience:
- 3+ years’ working experience·
- Knowledge of clinical operation processes and vendor management experience a plus· Knowledge sourcing processes and cost structure within clinical research categories a plus·
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools·
- Experience with financial modeling concepts.·
- Demonstrated problem solving and solution generations skills·
- Results driven demonstrated ability to support the execution of projects according to required deliverables and within timelines·
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment.
