Responsible for developing and executing plans to enable fit for purpose data to ensure optimal access and reimbursement for our products. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, including payor policies, reimbursement mechanisms, and market access challenges. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that enhance patient access to our therapies.

About the Role

Major Responsibilities 

  • Accountable for data enablement for payor, access & reimbursement analytics teams to support product launches and lifecycle management. 
  • Responsible for data enablement for functional reporting solutions 
  • Analyze and interpret payor policies and reimbursement trends to identify data opportunities and risks. 
  • Collaborate with market access, medical affairs, and commercial teams to align with data strategies and ensure cohesive execution. 
  • Mentor and develop a team of data analysts with a thorough understanding of Payor, Access, Chanel and Reimbursement data. 
  • Work closely with 3rd party vendors on various data sources (e.g., SP, Hub, ASOCs, etc.) 
  • Monitor and report on the impact of payor access data initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. 
  • Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and policies that may affect payor access and reimbursement. 

 

Essential Requirements: 

Novartis seeks an individual with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of Payor, access and Reimbursement data. The candidate should foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.    

Educational Qualifications & Minimum Work Experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Data Science, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Proven experience in brand management, data analytics and functional reporting 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. 

 

Additional qualifications are as follows:  

  • 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on brand awareness and data management in a healthcare setting. 
  • Minimum 10 years of people management experience. Proven track record of enabling data-driven decision-making at a senior leadership level, including addressing complex business challenges. 
  • Strong analytical background, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and aligning them with business priorities to drive impactful results
