About the Role
- Support with financial analysis, cost analysis, and control to, proactively, drive performance and corrective actions as needed.
- Design and maintain systems for financial tracking to provide accurate advance warnings of all financial results
- Support on the preparation and consolidation of planning processes for internal costs, CAPEX and headcount, OPEX, guiding principles, and ensure timely, high-quality budget delivery, including risks & opportunities and scenario analysis.
- Assist on the consolidation and reporting of monthly Latest Outlooks (LO), reporting of actuals and associated variance commentaries to TechOps Finance
- Ensure business resources are allocated used in line with objectives
- Support and lead long-term and strategic planning within SMO functions
- Manages the product costing process; provides partner required product costing inputs, reviews the standard cost calculations, checks for correctness and explains changes vs previous standards.
- Being a supportive and effective business partner to all Small Molecules stakeholders on all financial topics as required, in cooperation with the finance resources
- Proactively increase the financial awareness across the Small Molecules teams to drive better understanding and responsibilities of financial processes
- Act as a business partner for the SMO platform and other NTO platforms/functions
Minimum requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration or a similar diploma (MBA preferred)
- 5 years of blue-chip financial experience, including 3-4 years in business planning & analysis, ideally within the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to work and coordinate a cross-functional team in a matrix environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial reporting systems
- Fluent English, both written and spoken; German is a plus
