The Associate Director, IC Platform Rollout, is accountable for shaping and executing the Field Incentives platform strategy across all our international markets. This role demands knowledge of Incentives platforms available in the industry coupled with a sound understanding of Incentives planning and administration processes. The incumbent will lead a small team of SMEs who will ensure consistent rollout of next-gen Incentives platforms across the enterprise. The role will focus on ensuring consistent field experience, most efficient and automated systems including automated quality assurance processes.

About the Role

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the platform upgrade for Incentives for our top markets as well as the rest of the world (RoW)
  • Develop a clear roadmap for implementation (multi-year) to ensure a smooth rollout as well as to minimize disruption to ongoing Incentives processes.
  • Collaborate with their peer group in Incentives Delivery team and markets to understand local requirements. Enable field with best-in-class Incentives user experience (Digital personalized Incentives Scorecards and Incentives Simulators)
  • Build deep system knowledge within our Incentives Capability. Partner with vendor ecosystem to ensure that Novartis needs are communicated and addressed timely.
  • Champion futuristic System design to enable efficiency, data availability for analytics, audit trail, and AI use case implementation. Bring in a strong AI focus to address all the Incentives related business needs from HQ, regions, and Markets.
  • Continue to explore industry solutions around Incentives design, scenario modelling/simulation, target setting and sales crediting. Work with IT and vendor partners to ensure system governance, optimal license management.
  • Govern adoption of field Incentives solution, seek feedback from field, and ensure continue improvement. Partner with Business Excellences team in countries/regions and Field Performance Management team in HQ across Commercial, Finance, and Medical
  • Provide insights and advisory on field platforms beyond Incentives. Collaborate with the Incentives Operations team to ensure flawless delivery. Lead enterprise level capability building in Incentives. Support field transformation initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strategic and Technical Expertise10+ years of experience in commercial operations within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry
  • At least 6 years leading IC Design and Operations delivery
  • Prior experience of leading Incentives platform rollout in Pharma is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of data-driven IC design, IC analytics, IC diagnostics, and IC benchmarking
  • Product Mindset demonstrated experience in driving product mindset in big Pharma, strongly preferred.
  • Strong bias for standardization and automation
  • Leadership and Oversight .Demonstrated success in leading large program rollout at a global scale.
  • Experience in governance and operational oversight, including operational excellence and innovation.
  • Strong background in program management, including the design and execution of transformation initiatives.
  • Experience managing AI-related projects and integrating emerging technologies into business processes is increasingly valued. 

 Dersired Skills

  • Familiarity with Rest of World (RoW) operations and the ability to tailor strategies across diverse markets, especially outside the US. 
  • Experience working with similar global service organizations is highly advantageous.
