Responsible for leading the area to achieve good performance within the team and according to set KPIs (Forecast Accuracy, Customer Service Level, Write Offs, Inventory levels and accuracy, customer lead times, On Time in Full, and quality incidents) and costs efficiencies, fostering innovation, standardization and team engagement for processes optimization.
About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Ensure the team follows proper and timely activities execution end to end with the relevant stakeholders (sites, Hubs and any Global or Local functions) to receive supplies at CPO level, to achieve proper inventory levels and to avoid supply disruptions on the local market including proper global / local tools usage.
- Drive and co-lead local Sales & Operations Planning meetings (Demand, Supply, Lifecycle reviews, Integrated Reconciliation and Management Business Review), ensuring proper actions taken to achieve correct supplies and inventory levels and targets.
- Accountable to ensure write off minimization and to drive the team for proper provisions allocation.
- Supervise warehouses and transport daily activities to maximize efficiency and according to the relevant KPIs.
- Ensure the CPO follows the Customs and Trade regulations at country level applying the Global Standards and Policies, and covering all relevant import and export laws and regulations.
- Manage and lead the CTC team to perform the responsibilities on CTC day-to-day import and export operations including export control (embargo, sanctions, denied party screening, dual-use).
- Ensure Business Continuity Plans are in place to avoid any patient impact / stock outage.
Essential requirements:
- Business Administration/Supply Chain Management degree or related field.
- Previous solid experience in Demand & Supply Planning, Warehouse & Distribution and/or Customs & Trade Compliance.
- Able to prioritize workload according to recurrent deliverables strict timelines and manage critical situations.
- Proven people management skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI, Kinaxis or any other analytical tool.
Desirable requirements:
- Experience within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
- Knowledge of SAP or SAP Hana.
