Join a high-performing, highly engaged team making a meaningful impact for patients. As a Portfolio Account Specialist, you’ll be the face of our customer experience in the Victoria West territory, promoting our breast cancer portfolio. Reporting to the National Portfolio Manager, you’ll build trusted relationships, deliver value for customers and patients, and drive competitive sales growth—always in a compliant and ethical manner.

About the Role

  • Drive competitive sales growth by identifying and prioritising high-potential HCPs and stakeholders through data-driven territory planning.
  • Engage in value-based, customer-centric conversations (in-person and virtually) to understand decision drivers, challenges, and opportunities; personalise multichannel engagement journeys accordingly.
  • Build and sustain long-term partnerships with HCPs, opinion leaders, and key influencers at territory level to improve the patient journey.
  • Develop and share deep customer insights; dynamically adjust territory, account, and interaction plans; provide feedback that shapes content, campaigns, and engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate compliantly with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that address unmet customer and patient needs.
  • Act with integrity and transparency in line with the Novartis Code of Ethics; report technical complaints/adverse events/special case scenarios within 24 hours; coordinate distribution of marketing samples where applicable.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Extensive sales experience in healthcare/pharma or related industries, with a strong record of exceeding targets.
  • Established network with target HCPs and stakeholders; specific oncology/breast cancer product knowledge is desirable.
  • Proven account management and commercial excellence, including territory planning and pipeline management.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills; adept at value-based, multichannel customer engagement.
  • Strong customer insight generation and technical aptitude, leveraging data/CRM and analytics to drive performance.
  • High ethical standards and a strong compliance mindset; effective cross-functional coordination, conflict management, and solid understanding of the healthcare sector.
