The Associate Director, Compliance Experience and Enablement will develop and manage compliance related communications, training, engagement experiences, resources and certain ERC processes for the US organization. This person will also be driving clarity, consistency, usability and accessibility. The AD will partner with ERC business advisors to making compliance accessible, understandable, and actionable for all associates, supporting a culture of compliance through targeted initiatives and continuous improvement. Finally, they will collaborate to embed compliance into business processes and measure the effectiveness of communications, training, and user experience initiatives.

This role is required to be in our East Hanover, NJ office 3x/week. Please only apply if this works for you.

About the Role

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage all compliance-related communications to the US organization, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with compliance priorities.
  • Develop and operationalize engaging and effective compliance training for US associates in collaboration with ERC business advisors; coordinate with delivery teams for smooth rollout; oversee quality and effectiveness of training outputs.
  • Optimize and implement US compliance resources (e.g. Compliance Navigator, Field Guide, Ask US ERC Agent, WPD repository), working with technology and enablement teams to implement innovative solutions, enhance navigation, content clarity, and user satisfaction.
  • Design and support innovative compliance engagement experiences integrated into US organization ways of working and training strategies (e.g. Integrity Champions networks) to enable an integrity-driven compliance culture, reinforce compliance priorities and address emerging risks or policy changes.

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of communications, training, engagement experience and ERC processes, conducting ‘retro’ reviews, identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (e.g., Communications, Learning & Development, Business, or related field)
  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, communications, training, or related roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
  • Experience designing and delivering communications, training, engagement experiences, and/or associate engagement tools / resources
  • Demonstrated project management and communication skills

Benefits & Rewards

The salary for this position is expected to range between $152,600 and $283,400 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards. In addition, employees are eligible for a generous time off package including vacation, personal days, holidays and other leaves.
