Step into a pivotal role where your strategic leadership will shape the future of M&A technology integration at Novartis. As Associate Director in Deal Enablement, you’ll be the bridge between business, IT, and deal teams—translating complex acquisition goals into seamless, secure, and scalable technology strategies. Your work will directly influence how acquired entities are integrated, ensuring innovation, operational excellence, and long-term value realization.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead IT landscape assessments of acquired entities to inform integration planning
- Define system disposition strategies aligned with enterprise architecture and compliance standards
- Develop integration roadmaps ensuring business continuity and regulatory compliance
- Partner with internal teams to manage legacy IT environments during transition
- Ensure governance and adherence to Novartis security and process frameworks
- Identify opportunities to apply GenAI and automation for integration efficiency
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in IT strategy and integration within M&A environments
- Knowledgeable of assessing Pharma manufacturing & lab systems
- Ability to assess complex IT landscapes and define disposition strategies
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration across business, infrastructure, and architecture teams
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as GenAI and automation
Desirable Requirements
- - Experience working in global pharmaceutical or life sciences environments
- - Knowledge of post-merger integration frameworks and best practices
