About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing functions to ensure compliance, efficiency, and future-readiness of site operations
- Drive strategic planning and resource allocation aligned with site and Novartis Technical Operations goals
- Oversee daily shop floor operations and optimize production schedules based on workload and risks
- Promote Lean culture through visual management, standard work, and continuous improvement practices
- Manage complex MES systems and cross-functional teams to support electronic batch record execution
- Establish and maintain aseptic manufacturing processes to ensure product sterility and regulatory compliance

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing leadership, especially in aseptic processing and team development
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HSE, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence initiatives
- Expertise in managing MES and electronic batch record systems across complex manufacturing setups
- Business-level proficiency in English for global collaboration and reporting
- Ability to embody company culture and guide the team in the right direction during department launch
