We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director, Global Medical Affairs to lead medical Cardiovascular strategy within our Global Medical Affairs team. This role is pivotal in shaping integrated evidence plans, driving innovative medical strategies, and representing the medical voice across internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute medical affairs strategy for Cardiovascular therapeutic area asset priority programs.
  • Co-develop evidence generation plans, field medical strategy, education programs, and publication planning.
  • Drive innovative education and scientific communication for external stakeholders.
  • Ensure financial tracking and timely execution of medical activities.
  • Partner cross-functionally to shape early portfolio and diversify evidence for broad access.
  • Represent GMA in internal and external forums, including regulatory and investment communities.
  • Advocate for patient-centric approaches and support market-access strategies.
  • Provide input into lifecycle management and new therapeutic opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and medical quality standards.

Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • MD (preferred), PhD, or PharmD in Health Sciences.
  • 5+ years of experience in Medical Affairs and/or Clinical Development within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Cardiovascular experience.
  • Strong strategic mindset and stakeholder influence capabilities.
  • Global experience or in-country leadership experience.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and markets.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare systems and external stakeholder dynamics.
  • Track record of delivering high-quality medical affairs projects.
