The CMC Competitive Intelligence (CI) role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing competitive insights to inform Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) strategies focusing on NVS portfolio with the 2+3 Technical Platforms. This position ensures that intelligence-driven decisions support product design excellence, life-cycle management, and operational efficiency across the local and global TRD organizations.

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

  • Competitive Intelligence & Analysis
    • Collect and analyze competitor CMC strategies, technologies, and regulatory trends.
    • Develop actionable insights to guide product development and life-cycle planning.
    • Maintain CI dashboards and deliver timely reports to stakeholders.
  • Strategic Alignment
    • Partner with CMC leadership to integrate CI into decision-making processes.
    • Support fast-to-market initiatives by anticipating industry shifts and risks.
  • Process Governance & Compliance
    • Maintain SOPs, work instructions, and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
    • Define and monitor KPIs for CI activities and benchmarking.
  • Technology Enablement
    • Drive adoption of digital tools, automation, and AI for intelligence gathering.
    • Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance CI platforms and analytics.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Communicate insights effectively to cross-functional teams and governance forums.
    • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure alignment.

Minimum Requirements:
Work Experience:

  • Advanced degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
  • 5+ years in CMC, competitive intelligence, or related pharmaceutical functions.
  • Proven track record in data analysis, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement

Skills:

  • Proficiency in CI tools, data visualization, and analytics platforms
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and global CMC standards.
  • Project Management.
  • R&D.

Languages :

  • English.
