We are currently recruiting a Medical Manager to lead a team of Medical professionals and to play a key role in advancing our medical strategy and driving impactful outcomes for patients in Israel.
The purpose of the job is to oversee the strategic alignment of Medical Affairs initiatives with broader business objectives. Provide comprehensive medical leadership and subject matter expertise across the entire product lifecycle, from early pipeline and pre-launch phases to support for established brands, including medical excellence initiatives and patient support programs across therapeutic areas.
Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of Medical Science Liaisons and Medical Advisors within therapeutic areas and strategic medical functions, fostering a culture of scientific excellence and collaboration. Drive the execution of medical strategies through close partnership with senior internal stakeholders.
This position reports to the Chief Scientific Officer of Israel.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic alignment between medical and business objectives. Oversee the development and execution of medical strategies that directly support excellence in product launches and sustained business performance.
- Lead comprehensive medical support across the product lifecycle. Hold full responsibility for medical input from early pipeline through pre-launch to established brands, ensuring scientific rigor and strategic continuity.
- Serve as the senior medical partner to Therapeutic Area (TA) leadership. Act as the primary point of contact for TA Heads, ensuring medical alignment with therapeutic strategies and business priorities.
- Lead and develop a high-performing medical team. Manage and mentor a team of Medical Scientific Liaisons (MSLs) and Medical Advisors (MAs), fostering excellence across major therapeutic areas.
- Shape and support cross-therapeutic medical affairs strategies. Guide the design and implementation of medical plans across therapeutic areas, ensuring consistency, innovation, and measurable impact.
- Ensure strategic alignment with business priorities. Translate medical insights into actionable strategies that support commercial goals and enhance patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with senior internal stakeholders. Partner closely with TA Heads, Value & Access teams, and other senior leaders to ensure integrated planning and execution.
- Engage with external stakeholders to advance shared goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, institutions, and other external partners to support strategic initiatives.
Essential Requirements:
- Education: Life sciences Degree. (PHD or MD preferred).
- Min. 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs from Pharma.
- Min 3 years of previous leadership experience.
- Proficient Hebrew and English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge and understanding of both scientific and operational aspects of clinical drug development and Medical Affairs.
- Business acumen with an innovative mindset.
- Excellent communication, presentation skills and customer orientation.
- Strong collaboration skills.
Desirable Requirements:
- Previous leadership experience over the Medical team.
- Previous Oncology and/or cardiovascular therapeutic area knowledge.
