Ready to shape the future of clinical operations through technology? In this role, you’ll act as a strategic partner and delivery lead for Global Clinical Operations, driving innovation and transformation across a global portfolio. You will closely partner with Vendor Partnership and Governance (VPG) and Process, Training and GCP Compliance (PTC) business units and help to drive innovation and keep current system landscape stable. In GCO, we work at the intersection where our science meets our patients. Delivering on Novartis’s incredible portfolio takes agility, diligence, innovation, and a dedicated team that stretches beyond the boundaries of GCO. You’ll own the technical roadmap, lead complex programs, and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions that enhance business capabilities. About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as delivery lead and strategic partner for Global Clinical Operations in area of VPG and PTC
- Own technical strategy, roadmap, and delivery of programs and operations
- Shape technology roadmap in collaboration with business stakeholders
- Drive business transformation programs enabled by technology
- Ensure successful delivery of IT solutions and measure business value
- Manage budget accountability for portfolio of responsibility
- Lead and develop a globally distributed team
Essential Requirements
- University degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
- 18+ years of experience delivering technology solutions globally and at scale
- Proven ability to influence without authority and partner with senior leadership
- Strong knowledge of IT strategy, planning, and SDLC
- Experience leading global teams and managing complex portfolios
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry and Clinical Studies area
- Knowledge of emerging technology trends and innovation
