As the IT Product Owner for Consent and Preference Management within Digital Trust, you’ll lead the development of scalable, privacy-compliant solutions that directly impact how Novartis engages with patients and stakeholders. You’ll drive strategic capability, champion emerging technologies, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade digital platforms. About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Lead the delivery of scalable consent and preference management solutions across the enterprise
- Translate business needs into technical product objectives and delivery commitments
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables for privacy-compliant digital solutions
- Guide cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and deployment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align product features with business priorities
- Ensure solutions meet GDPR and global data privacy regulations
- Maintain deep knowledge of emerging privacy tools and platforms
- Approve strategic plans and investment decisions for product development
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the delivery team
- Oversee program governance, resource planning, and deployment strategy
- Serve as escalation point for key decisions and issue resolution
- Align innovation efforts with business, IT, and regulatory strategies
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of industry experience, including 2+ years in consent and preference management delivery
- Proven track record in agile product development and project management methodologies
- Strong understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and global privacy regulations
- Experience working with APIs and source systems to manage consent data
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Xray, and other DevOps tools
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong background in stakeholder management and innovation consulting
- Experience delivering global-scale solutions in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
