Associate Director Product Management Finance Planning & Analytics (SAC)

Key Responsibilities

Technical Product Ownership & Strategy

• Owns and drives the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Finance Planning & Analytics, ensuring alignment with enterprise financial strategies.
• Defines success metrics, prioritizes business needs, and continuously optimizes product performance.
• Leads requirement gathering, story mapping, and cross-functional execution across Finance, Engineering, and Business stakeholders.
• Responsible for Technical solutions design, development and delivery.

End-to-End Solution Delivery

• Oversees the full lifecycle of SAC,BPC solution delivery: from design and development to deployment, scaling, and maintenance.
• Translates complex business requirements into scalable, compliant, and high-performing SAP-based solutions.
• Manages distributed project teams and ensures timely delivery and smooth rollouts.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Consulting

• Acts as the primary connection between Finance capability owners and Digital teams.
• Provides IT consulting and change management support to drive adoption of global digital finance solutions.
• Builds strong partnerships across product, commercial, and technology functions to ensure shared ownership and delivery excellence.

Analytics, Insights & Innovation

• Leads development of advanced planning capabilities and data models within SAC.
• Establishes automated, scalable solutions for financial modeling and data analytics.
• Translates complex technical outputs into actionable insights for business leaders.

Strategic Influence & Governance

• Shapes long-term product strategies that impact core finance systems and processes globally.
• Ensures compliance with architectural standards, regulations, and enterprise IT governance.
• Identifies and qualifies new digital opportunities, driving them through early-stage ideation and approval.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Delivery Excellence

• Coordinates iterative releases, mitigates risks, and resolves blockers across technical and business domains.
• Influences and aligns product strategy across partner functions while managing competing priorities.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives and contributes to overall team and product maturity

Minimum Requirements:

• University-level education in computer science, information security, or equivalent experience
• + 10 years in IT, product management, or solution delivery roles
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud Planning and Analytics
• Proven expertise in SAC features including story building, data modeling, and forecasting
• Strong knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, BPC, and data integration methods
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical product designs
• Skilled in leading cross-functional teams across engineering and finance domains
• Familiarity with IT compliance, data security, and enterprise system governance.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working with Finance functions such as FP&A, controlling, or cost forecasting
• Familiarity with SAP Datasphere, Group Reporting, or non-SAP analytics platforms like Power BI or Snowflake.
